Should you try extreme fitness at home?

The answer is yes/no.  If you want fast results for your workout and a way that will consisently push you beyond your limits, then yes.  If you want to do what may be a little challenging and will lead to weight loss, then no.
It is important to know the difference.  Many a person have begun a challenging workout at home, only to push “play” for 3 days and then put the extreme fitness dvd on the shelf.

If anyone is going to begin an extreme fitness program, then they should plan to finish it.  There is no reason to begin a program and become so frustrated at the difficulty of the program, that it is decided NOT to complete any program, because the “extreme” program that they tried was “too hard”. It is this type of erroneous thinking some conclude that working out is “too hard”.

Many extreme fitness programs have a “pre-test” before you begin their program.  Please DO NOT, we repeat, DO NOT IGNORE the test.  These tests are important, it will enable you to see if you have the ability to complete the program and not fail miserably; no one wants to do this. Even when choosing a fitness instructor worth their salt, you will
be asked to perform some kind of “test” of your body for analysis.  The same is true for any good at-home extreme fitness program.  The tool of the pre-test is there so please use it. When doing the pre-test of the extreme fitness systems, ensure that if your body cannot accomplish, doing jumping jacks for 60 seconds for example, then perhaps you should push yourself doing an older program for a week or two, then come back to the pre-test. Keep doing that until you can perform the pre-test completely.  This type of investment in your physical fitness will make a better you and not a frustrated you.

Lastly, we at extremefitnesssite.com encourage you to “do” a fitness program.  There is nothing like that feeling of accomplishing a task that few people ever will physically. There is nothing like your friend seeing you
perform that chin-up and staring in amazement.  As stated before, extreme fitness can be tried at home for the “lion” at heart. The “lion” who wants to push their body to the limit. The “lion” who wants to sweat until they
feel like they cannot sweat anymore. The “lion” who want to go extreme!

What is defined as Extreme Fitness?

Extreme Fitness defined is differently for each person.  Extreme fitness training for one person could be the ability to do 30 sit-ups, while to another training for the Navy Seals; it could be doing 1,000 sit-ups.

Extreme fitness is the type of fitness that will for 70-80% your exercise time, put you at 80+% of your ability. It is exercise that will push you to and BEYOND your limits for MOST of your workout. Extreme fitness is not meant for you to just “feel” like you worked out, but it is meant for you to “feel” this workout WHILE you are working out.

Extreme fitness is NOT meant for the weak of heart. Extreme fitness systems are meant to take you to almost exhaustion and absolute excitement over the thrill of taking your body and mind to new ways of moving.

Also for those who are interested, an extreme fitness program must be taken seriously and not entered into lightly. For many, before they begin an extreme fitness system, they must consult their physician.

The thinking behind fitness pushing you to your full limits is that it is for those that want bigger and better results.  Those bigger and better results come at a price.

That price is extreme!  Also, this type of fitness IS NOT for everyone, it is only for those who have done previous workouts and want to take their bodies to the next level of fitness. When people are at this point in their fitness is also defined differently for everyone.  For some it is after doing a weight loss fitness program while others go right into buying an extreme fitness dvd.

It is important to note that pushing yourself to your physical limitation can come in many forms.  For some, it is a High Intensity Training class at their local gym. For others it may be an extreme fitness program that they may purchase from the latest infomercials.

Some of the most popular extreme fitness systems that you can buy are P90x and Chalene Extreme, and Insanity, all being able to be ordered from the largest fitness company called Beachbody.

These programs are all secondary programs. In other words, these programs are intended for the “graduates” of each trainer’s first weight loss programs and are the progression of their programs.

Lastly, extreme fitness ALSO could be an activity, like training for a half-marathon, bike-a-thon, or even a tri-a-thalon.
The path for extremity is available to everyone who wants more from their bodies; it just depends on how “extreme” one wants to be. Happy fitness! “Extreme style”

Eating Well to the EXTREME!

So you have decided to do some type of fitness that will take you to your limits. This type of exercise is NOT for the faint of heart.  This type of exercise is the kind that will take you to your limits physically and
mentally. But what many people do not realize when they join fitness programs, is that it is not just about the physical movement of the body during the exercise, but it also about ensuring that the body has the
proper “fuel” for good physical movement. We will give you important weight loss tips for the best foods for the extreme fitness programs.

With the recommended products on this site, you will see that it is not just about “sweating it out” in order to shed those unwanted pounds.  You will see that it is ALL ABOUT the right eating to for the body to ensure that the body is getting all the right nutrients to get it through that EXTREME workout. The one piece of advice that everyone should remember is that reading this advice is one thing, but DOING it is another.  Make it your business that while the decision has been made to go extreme, go all the way and DO what you read.  It will do no good to burn all those
calories, lift all those weights and not look like it because the right eating is not in place in your life.

If you are still reading then we take this as a confirmation that you will DO what is best for eating the right way for the extreme fitness programs or any type of extreme fitness for that matter.  Here it goes:

The first thing everyone should consider is that vegetables and fruit are KEY to meal planning, when considering how to properly fuel your body for your extreme fitness workouts.  In fact, it has often been suggested that when planning meals plan around the vegetable and fruit INSTEAD of the protein to ensure the proper intake of fruit and vegetables.  This simple rearrangement in meal planning will help to easily shed pounds and easily make choices even when out at your favorite restaurant.

The second thing is that protein is very important for overall health and stamina.  For those who may not know whatprotein is, it is anything that used to walk, swim or fly.  The other key about protein is that it is not only VITAL to your extreme workouts (in the right portion), but it is also GREAT to eat before workouts.

The last thing is that carbs are GREAT for you. ALL carbs are not created equal though, it is important to know which carbs are good for you and which carbs are not necessary.  Carbs do not have to be apart of every meal like we suggest for fruit, veggies and protein. It is important to note that the EXTREME FITNESS body NEEDS carbs, so please do notcut them completely OUT of y our diet for a length longer than 30 days or else you will not get the full production out of your body that you will need while taking your body to the limits.

The extreme fitness body needs fuel that will allow it to endure the times when it is taken to the limit.  Eating the right foods will enable it to stay full, endure, and perform as necessary when it will be taken to the EXTREME.
